Felicity Jones was born and raised in Britain and is primarily known for the actress who played Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in theatre, film and TV since she was 12 years old. Her career began with The TV production The Treasure Seekers. Then, in The Worst Witch (a television series) she played Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. She was Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and then went on to star in a variety of films. In films like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she gained acclaim for her acting. Her role as the wife in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's second wife the biopic, was rewarded with lots of praise from critics as well as people who watched for how she portrayed her. Inferno is the Tom Hanks-starred thriller. In 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles selected Jones as the British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to cinema.
